The husband and I were able to head to the Lou this past Thursday evening and we had such a wonderful time. First, a meal at Pi on the Loop. Garlic bread, a house salad, and a goat cheese and red pepper deep dish. I'd heard so many good things...enough to fear that it might just end up being a disappointment. But, twas not. It was wonderful. And we ate outside. Which was joyous despite the chill. Afterwards, we headed across the street to the Pageant to see The National, which was in one word: incredible. yes. Quick, sweet visit to be grateful for.
