Brainstorming...

...nursery ideas.  So many options...these are just a few!!  I want it to be baby-ish, but not sickening.  Modern but inviting.  Classic but funky.  Colorful yet muted.  Oh, darn.  And, I've always thought having a girl would mean automatic pink walls.  I mean, it's pink!  But, now, looking at pictures online...the pink walled rooms aren't really my favorites.  I'm loving that striped wall, but I'm not quite sure how great it would look in the room we're using.  What do you guys think?  Any favorites?

  4. #1 and #4 are my favorites. I love the idea of Robin's egg blue walls with the pink and orange bedding, or the yellow and white bedding. I had a blue bedroom once, and it was the most soothing room I've ever slept in, I loved it. ~Katie

  5. Loving 5 and 7. I think teal is just the most beautiful and soothing color for a room. Whatever you do will be beautiful, I can't wait to see! How fun! :)

Another Chewbeads Giveaway - Open until 6/11.

YAY!   Another Chewbeads Necklace Giveaway – the Turquoise Hudson !   Giveaway will close on Monday, 6/11 at 10pm – winner will be announced by Wednesday evening. So, this go around, the necklace is a gift from me as a thank you for reading or visiting this tiny little blog.  Also, because it’s really fun to give stuff away.   So, I’ll be giving away one specific necklace, the Turquoise Hudson , since it seemed to be the overall favorite last time!   Chewbeads have actually even improved since the last giveaway - they're now lighter weight and don't snag on long hair! You all know I’m a little obsessed with them , and I still wear them, even with E at 16 months.   Actually, she was just chewing on them the other day (same day as the pic above– I swear she chews on them, I just never catch it).   And – she cries for the Charles bangles when I wear them.   She’s convinced they are hers, I assume.   So...Who c...

Land of Nod Giveaway!!! (CLOSED)

Giveaway is CLOSED. Giveaway, it's a giveaway!!! $50 Land of Nod Gift Card! I'm obsessed with The Land of Nod .  I'm sure this is no surprise.  As you know, a whole lot of Eloise's room came from there.  And we continue to loooove, love, love their products.  SO, just recently, they came out with some amazing and adorable new products .  I can't get over how cute the new beddings are...these would have seriously been in the running for EA had they existed then.  And the blue Jenny Lind bed is the perfect shade of aqua, all funky and polished at the same time.  In love.  And, if you happen to like poufs, too, a faux leather (and somewhat cheaper) version of one for kids (or adults).  Oh, yes, and the rugs...seriously amazing...  I need to stop.   Anyways, these sweet people at the Land of Nod have offered to give one lucky reader a 50 dollar gift card .  Yep, that's right.  I'm pretty stinking excited.  I ...

Stocking time!

So, I know not everyone is ready for the holidays, but if we’ve been friends for any amount of time, you’re probably aware of my Christmas obsession.  Plus, the addition of kid number three right before the holidays/feeling essentially miserable being this pregnant have given me motivation to get things done early. Our stockings are hung by the chimney with care (yay for having a mantle!) already, and we'll be putting up our tree tonight (first artificial tree ever for me - still not quite sure how I feel about it...).  I’m working some kind of combo fall/Christmas tablescape in the dining room since we’ll be hosting Thanksgiving here, but otherwise it's all Christmas, all the time.  Anyways, the point is that I’ve had a lot of people ask about our stockings over the past few years, and I thought I’d  take the opportunity to provide the information, as well as some other adorable options.  Maybe it will cut down on shopping time for even just a few of you? ...
