Long or Short?

Can I get some opinions, please?  I'm thinking of cutting my hair short again.  It's been about three or four years since it's been truly short.  And I tend to like it long now.  I can put it in a ponytail, I can let it dry naturally if I get desperate (Don't judge me.  I promise it's temperamental.  I'd love to be someone who can just let their hair go without looking like a wackado.).  Either way, Eloise keeps pulling on it (which I actually find kind of endearing, but it hurts), it gets stuck when I lean my head on anything, and it takes forever to dry (I've got a lot of it).  I usually make my hair-drying/straightening time into tummy time on the bed for Eloise, but I found myself looking at her laying on the bed the other day, thinking, "seriously...I'd really rather be spending this 5 or 10 minutes with my child."  Some days I can let it air dry mostly, but when June rolls around, I'll have to dry it right away to get out of the door.  So, should I cut it or not?  I feel unable to make this decision on my own right now.  Some of you have known me with short hair.  What do you think?  What experiences have you all had?  Honestly, my main fear is that a shorter cut will make my face look even chubbier.  Do you think I'll regret it?  Any cut suggestions either way?  I know I sound desperate.  But I am, exactly that.  :)  Help me!  Comment!  Be blunt!

This is my hair now, with my own baby:

And this was it short (I almost always go for an angled bob), with little Rosie @ 9 months:

I really have other things I should be doing.  Gosh.

  1. I hear you! I have the same struggle right now. Leah loves to pull my hair. And I wonder weather I should cut my hair or not. I like both of your hair short or long! I want to keep mine long.... but it is painful... very much. My appointment is in 10 days! I need to decide my mind too:(:(

  3. I love your hair now, but I think it's a good time for short hair for you. And it will grow of course. I think a Katie Holmes bob would be sweet on you or more of a longish pixie cut with side swept bangs. I bet you'll love the extra time with Eloise and I agree with Mayu that you have a petite face so I think it will look nice! But I support you either way of course!

  4. Long for sure. You have gorgeous Kate Middleton hair. Don't cut it!

  5. Another vote for long-- E pulls my hair even though it's shorter. You'd look adorable either way, and I know extra time would be awesome to have extra tine in the mornings.

  7. Either way looks great! I cut my hair when I had AB and I was sad about it for a long time and vowed not to do it when I had AD.

    I understand your pain :)

Land of Nod Giveaway!!! (CLOSED)

Giveaway is CLOSED. Giveaway, it's a giveaway!!! $50 Land of Nod Gift Card! I'm obsessed with The Land of Nod .  I'm sure this is no surprise.  As you know, a whole lot of Eloise's room came from there.  And we continue to loooove, love, love their products.  SO, just recently, they came out with some amazing and adorable new products .  I can't get over how cute the new beddings are...these would have seriously been in the running for EA had they existed then.  And the blue Jenny Lind bed is the perfect shade of aqua, all funky and polished at the same time.  In love.  And, if you happen to like poufs, too, a faux leather (and somewhat cheaper) version of one for kids (or adults).  Oh, yes, and the rugs...seriously amazing...  I need to stop.   Anyways, these sweet people at the Land of Nod have offered to give one lucky reader a 50 dollar gift card .  Yep, that's right.  I'm pretty stinking excited.  I kind of wish I could enter!  For details,

Another Chewbeads Giveaway - Open until 6/11.

YAY!   Another Chewbeads Necklace Giveaway – the Turquoise Hudson !   Giveaway will close on Monday, 6/11 at 10pm – winner will be announced by Wednesday evening. So, this go around, the necklace is a gift from me as a thank you for reading or visiting this tiny little blog.  Also, because it’s really fun to give stuff away.   So, I’ll be giving away one specific necklace, the Turquoise Hudson , since it seemed to be the overall favorite last time!   Chewbeads have actually even improved since the last giveaway - they're now lighter weight and don't snag on long hair! You all know I’m a little obsessed with them , and I still wear them, even with E at 16 months.   Actually, she was just chewing on them the other day (same day as the pic above– I swear she chews on them, I just never catch it).   And – she cries for the Charles bangles when I wear them.   She’s convinced they are hers, I assume.   So...Who can enter? Anyone – Old readers, new
