Concrete Jungle Christmas.

N.Y.C.
We had a blast in New York last week.  Zach and I had never been together and it was E's first trip! It was a quick one, after a very long drive (yes, we drove :), but totally worth it.  I'm pretty sure there were a few times in the car when we all felt like screaming, but we made it in one piece.  And Christmas was all around us, which I loved (no surprise there).  We got a great deal for a hotel literally across the street from Rock Center, and ended up in a room (tiny room) with an absolutely incredible view.  It was called The Jewel of New York (got our room on Priceline)...highly recommend.  Anyways, staying close to everything made being there with a toddler ten times easier, and more fun when we turned in a little earlier than we might have normally.  And we were able to walk almost everywhere.  Eloise loved looking around and at one point exclaimed, "Exciting! Exciting!"  :)  On the way back, we were able to stop in Pittsburgh and enjoy really refreshing time with friends.

Another Chewbeads Giveaway - Open until 6/11.

YAY!   Another Chewbeads Necklace Giveaway – the Turquoise Hudson !   Giveaway will close on Monday, 6/11 at 10pm – winner will be announced by Wednesday evening. So, this go around, the necklace is a gift from me as a thank you for reading or visiting this tiny little blog.  Also, because it’s really fun to give stuff away.   So, I’ll be giving away one specific necklace, the Turquoise Hudson , since it seemed to be the overall favorite last time!   Chewbeads have actually even improved since the last giveaway - they're now lighter weight and don't snag on long hair! You all know I’m a little obsessed with them , and I still wear them, even with E at 16 months.   Actually, she was just chewing on them the other day (same day as the pic above– I swear she chews on them, I just never catch it).   And – she cries for the Charles bangles when I wear them.   She’s convinced they are hers, I assume.   So...Who c...

Land of Nod Giveaway!!! (CLOSED)

Giveaway is CLOSED. Giveaway, it's a giveaway!!! $50 Land of Nod Gift Card! I'm obsessed with The Land of Nod .  I'm sure this is no surprise.  As you know, a whole lot of Eloise's room came from there.  And we continue to loooove, love, love their products.  SO, just recently, they came out with some amazing and adorable new products .  I can't get over how cute the new beddings are...these would have seriously been in the running for EA had they existed then.  And the blue Jenny Lind bed is the perfect shade of aqua, all funky and polished at the same time.  In love.  And, if you happen to like poufs, too, a faux leather (and somewhat cheaper) version of one for kids (or adults).  Oh, yes, and the rugs...seriously amazing...  I need to stop.   Anyways, these sweet people at the Land of Nod have offered to give one lucky reader a 50 dollar gift card .  Yep, that's right.  I'm pretty stinking excited.  I ...
