Obsessed.

I can't get enough of Saipua .  Flowers in their most gorgeous state of being for sure.  They're free flowing without being too out of control.  And the colors are always beautifully strewn together.  It's almost too much to handle.   One of my absolute favorites... A photo of a bridal bouquet on Sarah's  blog ...just LOOK at that Dahlia! Engulfing yourself in the blog for a whole night is pretty much worth it, I'd say.

For the love of macaroons (& macarons)...

We had a lovely dinner with friends last night and I made one of my favorite treats from our beloved North African country (via France).  Oh, Chez Paul...how I miss thee.  This was my second attempt to make macaroons...the first time was quite unsuccessful.  I used a recipe which require no almond grinding this time.  Sorry, Martha.  I'm just not that great with lots of steps.  :( Here we have a photo from the king of macaroons, Laduree .   Macaroons are hard to resist.  They have the most amazing texture.  They come in bright colors.  They look like tiny, adorable sandwiches.  They're mostly sugar and eggs.  They're filled with goodness.  Simply divine.  Simply fattening. For more macaroon love, you can view an interview with a "macaron specialist" HERE .  Or perhaps read I Love Macarons .

Talk about Terrariums!!

I just spotted these on " Oh, So Beautiful Paper ."   Who thinks of these things??!!  They're amazing!

Terrific Terrariums!

I asked for a Terrarium for Christmas and received it (thanks to Zach's parents)!  I don't know why I happen to be in love which such a random object, but I think it's just glorious.  This, friends, is the terrarium : Isn't it cute?!  I think it's like a mini sun porch, which I guess is the whole point.  :) Sadly, my actual terrarium remains empty at this moment.  Something to work on...it's a new challenge...I have yet to keep a plant alive for longer than a few weeks.  Perhaps I will have to consult The New Terrarium  to get started.  Yay for terrariums making a comeback!

To blog or not to blog...again?

TO BLOG!  That is my conclusion.  I spend too much time each day scouring this vast inter-space for utterly pointless things, so I might as well make use of that time.  And maybe, just maybe, it can be my escape from the deep dark depths of medical books once I start PA school.  So, here's to blogging!

To blog or not to blog...

To blog or not to blog, that is the question.  I'm unsure about this venture but am apparently sure enough to try at the encouragement of my favorite blogging friend of a friend. :)  As procrastination seems to be one of my favorite past times, this might just fit the bill.   Three weeks into married life and I can truly say that I don't know if I've ever been happier.  I know that there will be times in our married life when things will be hard and stretching, but for now I can say that it's been...easy.  That's the best word I can think of.  And what a blessing that is.  Although I can say I'm not good with change-this girl doesn't even like people changing the location of the Christmas tree-the changes have been hard, but good...aren't all great things?  The Lord has always, always been faithful and he's been so wonderful to provide in this area and it encourages me that he truly cares about every aspect of our lives.  Everything...not just those...
