Beauty Faves.

Happy Wednesday, friends!  {Hope you guys like the new format because my old template straight up just disappeared...}  Here's a round-up of my beauty favorites, which I get asked about from time to time.  My favorite ways to shop my tried and trues are looking for price matching at Nordstrom (they'll give amazing discounts) or at Ulta when there are coupons (both of these stores have an awesome return policy if the colors or formulas don't work for you).  Also, free point systems.  Rewards are the best, you guys.  Click on the images for links (ps - these are totally not affiliate links).

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation -
This is now my go-to foundation.  My melasma (thank you, children) means I typically need more coverage, which this provides,  but doesn't feel heavy or drying.  I always wear the palest shade available.

it Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer -
The best I've found so far and a tube lasts FORever.

Lorac Porefection Powder to set foundation.

Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzer and Brush -
I love the regular bronzer and illuminating equally.  My suggestion with Bobbi Brown Bronzer is to go a shade darker than normal (My pale face uses medium in the regular bronzer).  And this brush is amazing.  I've only had to buy two since high school, if that tells you anything.

Bobbi Brown Blush in Pale Pink -
Love how it is bright, but not heavy.  This is the same shade I have worn for years.

Clinique Chubby Stick for Eyes (in grandest gold) -
So easy to put on and stays.  Sometimes I'll use this to layer for a darker color at night.

Bobbi Brown Eye Opening and No Smudge Mascaras -
This is the first time I have used a more intense mascara that isn't waterproof, but I'm loving it.  I just top it with my all-time fav, No Smudge, and then it becomes waterproof (they sell it as a set, linked above).  Also, I only use no smudge on the bottom lashes. My runner-up: Fabulous Flocking Lashes, which makes your lashes huge and is waterproof, but this does flake more.

Clinique Brow Mousse -
This stuff doesn't budge at all, and I love that it gives control and tints without looking fake.

Lip Colors
So many fun ones, but here are my current faves (the first two are the ones I wear daily):

Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in Baby -
This is lighter and easier to apply than most lipsticks and lasts awhile.  Definitely not a balm consistency, though. (No Mirror Needed!)

Sugar Tinted Lip Balm in Berry -
This is definitely a lip balm and lasts forever.  (No Mirror Needed!)

Clinique Pop Lacquer in Love Pop -
This stuff is amazing and so easy to apply.  It looks more like a gloss when it's on. (No Mirror Needed!)

Clinique Chubby Stick in Pudgy Peony -
Gives a surprising amount of color for a balm.  (Mirror Needed in my opinion.)

Laura Mercier sheer Lip Color in Healthy Lips -
The prettiest natural color.  I don't wear all the time because I find it is a little on the drier side.

Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color in Retro Red -
This stuff is intense - I only wear if we are going out.  It's a true red.  (Definitely don't skip the mirror. )

Okay, and lastly, this isn't for the face, buuuuutttt...this gel mani kit will save you boatloads of time and dollars if you like to get your nails done.

Land of Nod Giveaway!!! (CLOSED)

Giveaway is CLOSED. Giveaway, it's a giveaway!!! $50 Land of Nod Gift Card! I'm obsessed with The Land of Nod .  I'm sure this is no surprise.  As you know, a whole lot of Eloise's room came from there.  And we continue to loooove, love, love their products.  SO, just recently, they came out with some amazing and adorable new products .  I can't get over how cute the new beddings are...these would have seriously been in the running for EA had they existed then.  And the blue Jenny Lind bed is the perfect shade of aqua, all funky and polished at the same time.  In love.  And, if you happen to like poufs, too, a faux leather (and somewhat cheaper) version of one for kids (or adults).  Oh, yes, and the rugs...seriously amazing...  I need to stop.   Anyways, these sweet people at the Land of Nod have offered to give one lucky reader a 50 dollar gift card .  Yep, that's right.  I'm pretty stinking excited.  I kind of wish I could enter!  For details,

Another Chewbeads Giveaway - Open until 6/11.

YAY!   Another Chewbeads Necklace Giveaway – the Turquoise Hudson !   Giveaway will close on Monday, 6/11 at 10pm – winner will be announced by Wednesday evening. So, this go around, the necklace is a gift from me as a thank you for reading or visiting this tiny little blog.  Also, because it’s really fun to give stuff away.   So, I’ll be giving away one specific necklace, the Turquoise Hudson , since it seemed to be the overall favorite last time!   Chewbeads have actually even improved since the last giveaway - they're now lighter weight and don't snag on long hair! You all know I’m a little obsessed with them , and I still wear them, even with E at 16 months.   Actually, she was just chewing on them the other day (same day as the pic above– I swear she chews on them, I just never catch it).   And – she cries for the Charles bangles when I wear them.   She’s convinced they are hers, I assume.   So...Who can enter? Anyone – Old readers, new
