...

This week has been full of clinic hours, including a few very long ER shifts and a lot of exhausting and new information.  Although I truly am enjoying what I'm learning (I did my first sutures on Monday!), I have missed this girl (and Zach) like crazy.  Before school, I felt that God confirmed through many people and through Himself that He would take care of our little one throughout this process.  Not that others would not be helping (their help is vital), not that I would not have time for her (I squeeze every ounce I can get), but that overall and ultimately she is not mine, but His.  And if I was willing, I could have freedom in knowing that.  Gosh, living out faith in the most practical every day things often feels the hardest, doesn't it? Monkey.

Our little monkey.  The first thing she asks for in the morning? "NAna. NAna." Some days she tries to smuggle a few out of us...

Bubbles here.

The bubble necklace arrived! The best of quality? I'd say no. But cute? I'd say yes.

Lately.

Hi.  Lately: + Eloise = cranky and sick.  Home on Monday and Tuesday with a fever.  Up earlier tonight screaming bloody murder.  It is pitiful.  And sad.  And I think she has more teeth coming in. + ER rotation has begun.  And I like.  My once-a-week family practice time is becoming even more fun as I get more responsibility.  I like, too. + Along with Eloise sick, I have developed this glorious sinus infection.  Now that I'm not breastfeeding, I take decongestants like it's my job.  It makes infections less awfully glorious. +  We just got back from my cousin's wedding up in Chicago.  It was SO beautiful and we had a blast. +  Trying to catch up with school, which is much more manageable than last year so far, but with sickness taking over, I've got to get it into gear this weekend... + I am so behind getting to talk to people I love and miss.  Part of why I'm writing this.  Don't you wish you could transport yourself to people and have some face-t

Bubbles.

And this.  I ordered this.   Here on ebay .  A knock-off bubble necklace, which I read on other blogs looks as nice as the J.Crew version.  So I went for it.  $17?  Yes, please.  It should be here in a few days!

Majorly Maxi.

I've been eyeing maxi skirts for awhile now, but I hadn't quite taken the plunge.  Then, recently, I found two skirts that were basically perfect for me at Target.  Total price: under $50.  I've become a little obsessed.  You can do so much with them.  And I love that I can wear a skirt and still bend over to pick Eloise up without feeling awkward.  Also, is it sad that they kind of make me feel casually glamourous?  Flowing skirt, sunny skies.  There's just something about it. I love that this skirt can be worn high on the waist or slung on the hips (Oh, and please ignore dirty room in background).   Here's a similar one , but mine was only $17 in the store.... Merona Pink Maxi Skirt   (I'd consider giving my left foot for this one from Anthro last year .  Just kidding.)

And the winner is...

And the winner is...ALANNA!!!   {Image found here -  Sassette Diaries } Thanks so much for entering and for the comments!

Another Chewbeads Giveaway - Open until 6/11.

YAY!   Another Chewbeads Necklace Giveaway – the Turquoise Hudson !   Giveaway will close on Monday, 6/11 at 10pm – winner will be announced by Wednesday evening. So, this go around, the necklace is a gift from me as a thank you for reading or visiting this tiny little blog.  Also, because it’s really fun to give stuff away.   So, I’ll be giving away one specific necklace, the Turquoise Hudson , since it seemed to be the overall favorite last time!   Chewbeads have actually even improved since the last giveaway - they're now lighter weight and don't snag on long hair! You all know I’m a little obsessed with them , and I still wear them, even with E at 16 months.   Actually, she was just chewing on them the other day (same day as the pic above– I swear she chews on them, I just never catch it).   And – she cries for the Charles bangles when I wear them.   She’s convinced they are hers, I assume.   So...Who can enter? Anyone – Old readers, new

Sparkles.

I've been meaning to do a little post on these cupcake toppers since Eloise's Birthday Party . {How does time go so fast??} Either way, these are seriously the easiest craft I've ever done.  Directions were from Martha Stewart (except they did drink stirrers , which are adorable).   Directions:  Heat up a glue gun. Gather Christmas tinsel.  Gather toothpicks.  Cut tinsel into sections of maybe 2 inches.  Put a dab of glue on the toothpick and quickly halve the tinsel (or basically, as I did, just shove it on there and try to make it look pretty).  Note - might want to shake them off a little bit before you actually put them on cupcakes unless you want very tinsel-y icing. And that is it, my friends.  Fancy without the fuss.

Another New Sponsor...Magic Beans!

So excited about my newest sponsor, Magic Beans, based out of Boston.  Because they seriously sell every baby/kid product I love.  It's pretty awesome.  You guys will probably see me linking to them more often now because they have so much great stuff, and sometimes it's hard to find it in one location.  Here are just a few of my favs below, but this doesn't even touch the surface.  Details:  Free Shipping over $75 and a lowest price guarantee.  P.S. They have these  sweet baby basket options  for gift-giving. This  Rody Ride-On Horse ...I think these are hilarious and SO adorable.  We don't have this yet, but I think Eloise would love it...I've heard so many good reviews!  It seems like kids can use them for a few years, too. Like I've said before, the BOB Revolution SE .  Because we're pretty much obsessed with it.  Even more so than a few weeks ago.  I thought I loved it, but Zach might be more in love than I am and tries to test its abi
