Simply Beautiful.

I just spotted this wedding on MSW for the first time and it's soooo beautiful...the venue was absolutely gorgeous and of course, the flowers were done by Saipua and the calligraphy by Betsy Dunlap . What more could one ask for? Oh, and her hair?! It's awesome!

Pink. Pink. Pink!

I stumbled upon the blog Make It Lovely via StyleMePretty today and I'm totally a believer! The writer owns Pink Loves Brown , a fun company with stationary, buttons, and these absolutely amazing paper suitcases. They're too stinkin' cute! Aaaand, most of her house is pink, her Christmas tree was pink (top two photos), but most of all...it's not disgusting. I think she's my new hero.

Easter.

I heart Easter. A lot. Which means...I will have to tame myself when it comes to decorations. At this point I have only bought two. Yes, TWO. Ha! :) A sweet little lamb and a cute little glitter cupcake topped with a bunny (which sits under a glass cloche), both from Pier1 . I'm slightly obsessed with the cupcakes ...I'm dreaming of a two-tiered cake stand full of them. Here you go...

"But shhh, don't tell...it's a secret!!"

This is exactly what Rosie told my mom the other day...only after declaring, "Cookie, we're having a party for you!" haha. Needless to say, the party wasn't a surprise, but we had lots of fun celebrating Cookie's birthday with a small group of family and friends (we max out in our house at about 15 people:). Here are some snapshots (the shots of more of the group didn't turn out too well).

Ring me.

Old fashioned? Maybe. Fun? Most definitely. Calling cards are too cute! This is just a taste... Kate Spade Awning Stripe. SimpleSong Calligraphy Letterpress . A somewhat masculine card . Moontree press .

Pretty, pretty flowers.

I was just browsing on simple song and spotted these gorgeous flowers . So pretty...too bad they're based in Barcelona! I love how the renanculas (how hard is that to spell, seriously!) are in a bowl with a spoon. So yummy, they're like food. :)

Great News!

I got a message from my mom yesterday telling me she was listening to NPR and they had a fun piece of news: Macaroons are the new cupcake according to some food experts! Wahoo! Not that I want cupcakes to move out of the way...I like them just the same for all different reasons, but macaroons are just so fun. You can read the story here . Happy Valentines Day, everyone!! Heather's great Valentines Day post has put me in the mood!! :) Here are a few "sweet" photos to add the the Valentines collection...an amazing Amy Atlas Dessert Bar via StyleMePretty and The Brides Guide . :) (Amy Atlas is working that cupcake/macaroon combo herself!) Now off to get ready for a wonderful day in St. Louis and a bound-to-be amazing meal at 1111 Mississippi . Very excited.

Kiddos.

I babysat our niece and nephew tonight...I'm not yet skilled in the ways of keeping a three year old and five month old from screaming at the same time, but I am learning. :) Either way, they're pretty darn cute. William and I hanging out! Rosie licking the bowl after making brownies.

If only I was a better cook...

...I would get this incredible recipe box by Sugar PAper. The second photo is an amazing party invitation they did...much, much more of that beauty on their site .

Pink Vintage Collection...I like the sound of that!

I believe I would like this series of three prints by Mandy Lynne to grace our walls...and I'm sure Zach would LOVE it as well. haha.

A Rose is a Rose.

Zach brought home this rose for me recently and it most definitely made my day. Much like when my mom would put a rose next to my bed before I came home from high school every once and a while... :)

Happy Photos.

A flower market photo (sigh), which was posted on A Cup of Joe a week or two ago... "For Like Ever" poster via Ink and Post , first seen in the much missed Domino Mag... This image from the current Country Living...

Drooling.

Totally drooling over this post on StyleMePretty today! It's a photo shoot, not a real wedding, but amazing nonetheless. Isn't it gorgeous??

Oh, Texas...

...I like you. I had a wonderful time visiting Aleza in Austin this past weekend. They have a great little house just a few minutes from downtown so we were able to do so much! Our time could be summed up more by where we ate than what we saw, which is to say the least, just the way I like it! :) In between bridal appointments and fun we ate crepes and tacos, bread pudding and mousse. I never before knew why people were so obsessed with tacos, but I'm alllll for them now. My favorite was the mole chicken taco from TacoDeli . Okay, and breakfast...we had the most amazing breakfast at South Congress Cafe on, well, South Congress (picture below). Can I just tell you I'm obsessed? We started with a mango mimosa, split this gorgeous goat cheese and caramelized onion omelet, a potato gruyere pancake, yummy eggs benedict, and incredible smashed potatoes. Why is food so stinkin' wonderful? Oh, and South Congress had amazing shopping. I found a fun vintage dress and earr...
