MSW Spring Issue.

Every time I head to the bookstore and scan the newest  Martha Stewart Weddings , I attempt to convince myself to look, not purchase.  These past few issues (okay, maybe more), I've left unsuccessful.  But they're always full of the sweetest eye candy.  This issue has an amazing section on all the unique options in calligraphy.  And features on my favorites, Cheree Berry and Livia Cetti ?  Done, thank you very much.

Lovely.

This is my view right now... It's all rainy and cozy and I'm enjoying just hanging out with our dogs...you can spot one in the photo...the one wearing a shirt.  :)   He's not supposed to be up there, but we're having a lazy day, so you know...I bent the rules (Zach, don't comment). A pumpkin harvest candle is burning (YuM!).  I'm drinking a cappuccino while listening to the Sufjan Stevens Christmas album (YES, that's right).  Blogging pointless posts.  Looking over the possible birth announcement samples from Cheree Berry Paper I just received (really fun).  And about to delve into some time with my all time favorite...good old Jesus .  :) Thankful for days like this.

Fun, fun!

I made a little stop into the Kate Spade store in St. Louis this weekend...I'm always amazed how each one is like a sweet little museum full of bubbly colors.  I drooled over the idiom bangles and pretty pink shoes...okay, maybe I drooled over everything.  And, it was fun to see the Cheree Berry ( my fav! ) installment at the front of the store (view it  here  -  click on "take a chance")!  Anyways, I went in to purchase a 2011 planner (perfect for me since I require a paper calendar with a monthly view) and stumbled upon the most amazing necklace!  I actually asked the sales lady if the price was wrong because it was so much cheaper than I expected.  Turns out it was cheap because it's a PEN necklace (a la Mad Men apparently) that looks like a pendant...in the most beautiful turquoise color.  Didn't miss a beat buying that baby.  Here she is...I promise the photo doesn't do it justice.  {"Doodle Pen" Necklace photo found h...

POOF!

Poofy veils. I heart them. I considered my wedding veil to be poofy, but looking at these, I wish I had gone for a little more lift!! Don't they just look like clouds of joy? {Images 1,2: Milwaukee Wedding from StyleMePretty ; Image 3: weddingbee; Image 4: Cheree and Jeff's Wedding from Martha Stewart Weddings; Images 5, 6: Lo Boheme }

Paper. Oh, Paper.

Here's another recent post from 100 layer cake...a fun  tour  of  Cheree Berry 's St. Louis Studio. Yay! She's by far my favorite stationer and super, super sweet. Her designs are modern yet whimsical and the color combinations are always amazing.  Cheree did our invitations and it was probably one of my favorite parts of wedding planning (you can see her wedding  here !). We used one of her already existing designs and although I'd die for letterpress, it was quite expensive.  So, we went with a flat printed design and couldn't have been happier.  The quality was amazing and the wee little foil-stamped bee made me oh, so happy.  I would have looooved for her to do everything paperish for the wedding had it fit in budget-wise, but we were really happy with the other items designed by a few different artists.  Here was our invitation! Love paper, love weddings. :)   I just saw a  different rendition  of this which I think is...
